Favorite food in the world- Curry!

I love curry.

It is possibly the most delicious and customizable food in the world. You can add any ingredient to it or prep it in so many different ways.

Some of the ingredients that I've found bizarre, but interesting in curry, have been watermelon and coffee. I've also seen curry stewed and stuffed in a bread to be fried. Truly, I can't think of a more customizable food than curry.

Curry is cooked all around the world and there's many forms of it as well as regional distinctions, like the coconut milk in Thai curry, the traditional dark brown color of Japanese curry, and the partnering of naan with Indian curry.

Throughout this blog, I will be doing more updates on curry and posting some of my own creations as I test different combinations of ingredients and spices.

Hello Everyone!

I thought long and hard about what I want to write about for a blog. What do I normally do? I wondered. Sure, I play games, read, go out, but those are just minor parts of my day that I have no interest in delving deeper to create any connection of value. And that's when I realized my passion- I LOVE thinking up odd foods. The odder, the better.

I feel that foods are something that's meant to be tinkered with and shared with people. Food is meant to be exchanged and ideas meant to be innovated from these exchanges. You like curry? I like chocolate? Let's make a chocolate curry that both of us can love! We love chocolate curry? Others like watermelon? Hell, let's make a chocolate watermelon curry!

Everyone is unique, but we all share different tastes in foods. If one of us like something odd, others will probably like it too, even, to my ire, durian D:

So, I'm starting this blog with the intent to write about odd foods that I have thought about. Some, I have made or eventually will make, while others may be beyond my current skills/resources (I sure as hell can't spend the money on truffle fungi right now for my own amusement). Of course, some of the foods I post here will also be relatively normal- those foods will be the basis for future modifications on the foods, e.g. curry or bread.

So, I hope you all join my culinary exploration and give your thoughts on the foods posted; I'd love to hear your thoughts on what may be further done on foods.
